The phrenic (or frenic) nerves provide motor innervation to the diaphragm and work in conjunction with secondary respiratory muscles to allow respiration. Damage to the phrenic nerves leads to breathing problems. The name also prominently contains Ramon’s initials, and an abridged notion of “free” - among others…

Experiences
Ramon’s career started as a freelance journalist as well as co-founder of Swiss broadcaster Kanal K. He then switched to information technology, working as project manager for various clients, freelance and employed. In 2005 Ramon joined Swiss SaaS company Vision Information Transaction AG, better known as Picturepark, and later became co-owner of the company.
At Picturepark, Ramon has been fortunate to make exciting and enriching experiences by recruiting and leading a team of highly talented and engaged individuals. As Head of Marketing & Sales, Ramon sold and delivered solutions that meet customers’ needs, and was responsible for the company’s international expansion. As Product Strategist, Ramon divested and sold existing technologies for funding the development of exciting new SaaS products, such as the Picturepark Content Platform which he brought to market in 2018. As CEO and Member of the Board, he strategically positioned, streamlined and eventually sold Picturepark to Norwegian company FotoWare A/S in 2022. Ramon left Picturepark a year later.
Today, Ramon helps software companies and software buyers navigate uncharted waters, as a consultant or interim manager, and with a focus on data and content management solutions such as DAM, PIM, E-Commerce, CMS/DXP. He is also an occasional seed investor as well as a jury member of the largest Swiss ICT Investors Club (SICTIC).
Among his latest software venture is PxmizeAi, that delivers tailor-made product experiences for every persona and context – automatically, on-brand, and with up to 68% higher conversion. This lightweight AI layer on top of existing tech stacks continuously feeds market and product intelligence to brands, and helps syndicate content to retailers. Here, Ramon serves as CPO of the Swiss parent company PXMIZE AG.
Ramon lives with his wife and family in the countryside near Zurich/Aarau, Switzerland. He enjoys running and cycling out in the green, gardening & DIY, and researching ideas.
